Pregnancy & baby Loss Resources

When I saw the statistics for miscarriage/pregnancy and baby loss, I knew I needed to show my support and care somehow. Miscarriage is common – 1 in 4 pregnancies ends in a loss (within the first 12 weeks.) And 1 in 185  babies die before their first birthday.

Perhaps you’re going through a miscarriage, or have been told your baby won’t survive long after birth. Firstly I want to say how very sorry I am as well as extend my love and sympathy to you and those effected. Secondly, nothing can prepare you for the emotional journey ahead, however there is incredible support out there. When it comes to grief, there is no right way to walk the road ahead. It may take you a long while, or you may recover quickly. You may be sad and cry a lot of the time. You may be shocked and confused, or numb or angry, guilty or feel alone and empty. No matter how you feel it is the right way for you, but not the only way. Each person’s passage is their own travel.

I would love to leave some local resources with you that are around Northern Ireland and the UK areas to support you and your family at this difficult time.*
